OUR TEAM
Meet our teachers and founders of the school, Jessica, Beth and Krista. Having been friends for many years, and each with 10+ years of dance and performing arts experience, they jumped at the chance to collaborate when the opportunity arose. Combining their experience and strengths, they have an exciting vision for SCDA and are committed to providing a high standard of training in dance and performance, as well as creating an inclusive and positive environment.
Meet The Team
Jessica Troke
Jessica's passion for dance started much like many others, at the age of 3 in a small village hall. Since then, she has competed, studied and trained in various styles and holds multiple qualifications with the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA) in both the Ballroom & Latin and Theatre branches. With 10+ years experience, Jessica has taught medallist and social Ballroom & Latin styles for both children and adults, as well as Ballet and Disco Freestyle. Throughout her career in dance she has choreographed countless routines for exams - both amateur and professional, first dances for weddings, group wedding dances, hen parties, public performances, lectures and workshops. In 2019, Jessica was invited by the IDTA to host a lecture at the annual congress in Southport and has taught many workshops in Bournemouth. Jessica takes pride in creating a comfortable and welcoming space for all ages and abilities to learn to dance in, with personable and enthusiastic teaching that comes from the drive to make dance accessible and enjoyable for all.
